Phionah Sasira

Phionah Sasira is a female Ugandan, who holds a Master of Science degree in Environment and Natural Resource Management from Makerere University Uganda and a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science from the same university. Phionah also holds various professional certifications in natural resources and occupational health and safety.
She has over 10 years of experience in Environment and Social Safeguards, Health and Safety, Environmental Site Assessments, ESS Monitoring, and Environmental Compliance assistance among others. Phionah has several years of work experience leading teams across different projects and has provided expert knowledge and research to help business owners with information aimed at enhancing business growth with minimal environmental impacts.
Phionah is currently Vice-Chair of the Ugandan Association of Impact Assessors, an umbrella organization that brings together all environmental practitioners in the country. She has been a member since 2013, as well as a member of the International Association for Impact Assessment. Phionah is the CEO and one of the founding directors of Eco Innovations International Limited, a consultancy firm based in Kampala, Uganda that provides environmental and social consultancy services. The firm was incorporated in Uganda in 2010. Aside from being the CEO of Eco Innovations, Phionah is a fish farmer and into real estate. I like reading consciousness books and spending time with my daughters and generally kids.
